நண்பேன்டா!...

நல்ல ஒரு உச்சி வேளை,... முகப்புத்தகத்தில் ஆழப்பதிந்திருந்த ஒரு பொழுது... எங்கோ காற்றில் மிருதுவாகக் கேட்டது அந்தப் பாடல். 1991-ல் வெளிவந்த புகழ்பெற்ற 'தளபதி' திரைப்படத்தின் ஒரு பாடல் அது. திரைப்பாடலாய் இருந்தாலும் சில பாடல்கள் அதி அற்புதமாய் வடிவமைக்கப் பட்டுவிடுகின்றன. இதுவும் அந்த வகைப் பாடல் தான்... என் வேலைகளை நிறுத்திவிட்டு பாட்டிற்குச் செவி கொடுத்தேன். கிட்டத்தட்ட முன் பாதி பாடல் முடிந்துவிட்டிருந்தது,..அடுத்த வரிகள்...

"பந்தம் என்ன சொந்தம் என்ன போனா என்ன வந்தா என்ன...
உறவுக்கெல்லாம் கவலப்பட்ட ஜன்மம் நானில்ல!
பாசம் வெக்க நேசம் வெக்க தோழன் உண்டு வாழவெக்க...
அவனைத்தவிர உறவுக்காரன் யாரும் இங்கில்லே!
உள்ளமட்டும் நானே, உசிரக் கூடத்தானே,
என் நண்பன் கேட்டா வாங்கிக்கன்னு சொல்லுவேன்...
என் நண்பன் போட்ட சோறு, நிதமும் தின்னேன் பாரு,
நட்பைக் கூடக் கற்பைப் போல எண்ணுவேன்...
சோகம் விட்டு சொர்க்கம் தொட்டு ராகம் இட்டுத் தாளம் இட்டுப்
பாட்டுப் பாடும் வானம்பாடி நாம்தான்!..."

-இப்படியான வரிகள் அமைந்த பாடல்... எத்தனை உயிர்ப்புள்ள பாடல்!... எழுதிய கவிஞனுக்குப் பாராட்டுகள். நிச்சயம் அவன் 'தோழமை' உறவை நன்கு உணர்ந்த மனிதனாகத் தான் இருக்க வேண்டும்.

முன்பெல்லாம் நட்பு, நல்ல நெருக்கமான நண்பர்கள் என்று எனக்கு யாரும் குறிப்பிட்டுச் சொல்லும்படியாக இருக்கவில்லை. பள்ளி வயதில் யாராவது 'உன் Best Friend யாரு?' என்று கேட்டால் கூட சட்டென பதில் வரும் 'புத்தகம்' என்று!... இதே பதிலைத் தான் 23 வயது வரைப் பின்பற்றி வந்திருக்கிறேன்... திடீரென ஒரு மாற்றம் என் நட்புருவத்தில்! இங்கே நான் என் எண்ண ஓட்டத்தை அப்படியே பதிவு செய்ய விரும்புகிறேன். அதனால் இனி பேச்சு வழக்கில் எங்கள் நட்பை பார்ப்போம்...

மனித உருவத்துல நட்பை நான் உணரும் வாய்ப்பு பல ஆண்டுகளா கிடைக்கல. ஆனா நல்ல ஒரு 'மனிதனா' எனக்கு அறிமுகமானான் 'என் நண்பன்'. (பேர் சொன்னா திட்டுவான்; அவனுக்கு publicity பிடிக்காது! ) எப்படி நாங்க நண்பர்கள் ஆனோம்-னா...... (பயந்துடாதீங்க! அது ரொம்ப சின்ன கதை தான்! ) 2008-ல செ.ப.-ல படிக்கற 14 அடங்காத வால் பசங்கள தேர்ந்தெடுத்து, (அதுல நானும் ஒண்ணு!) அவங்கள NSS அமைப்பு மூலமா தஞ்சை பெ.ம.ப. நடத்தின ஒரு தேசிய அளவிலான முகாமைக்கு செலவு பண்ணி அனுப்பி வெச்சாங்க. (அப்பவாவது நாலு நல்ல பசங்கள பாத்து நாங்க திருந்துவோம்-னு நெனைச்சுட்டாங்க போல! அந்த நாலு நல்ல பசங்கள்-ல 'என் நண்பனும்' ஒருத்தன்!...) சமத்தா போன எல்லாரும் வந்த காரியத்தோட சேர்த்து, வழக்கமான எங்க அடங்காத அட்டகாசத்தையும் அள்ளித் தெளிச்சுட்டு வந்துட்டோம். இது நடந்து ஒரு 5 வருஷத்துக்கு அப்புறமா,..... (என் இனிய தமிழ் மக்களே,.. தயவு செய்து இங்க '16 வயதினிலே' Title Song-அ ஓடவிடுங்கலேன்...Start Music!..'சோளம் வெதக்கையில'...................) ஒரு நாள் முகப்புத்தகத்துல busy-ஆ இருந்தப்போ, ஒரு பையன்,... அதாவது அந்த நாலு நல்ல பசங்கள்-ல ஒருத்தன்,....(அட, 'என் நண்பன்' தாங்க) Chat-ல வந்தான். (முன்னாலேயே அந்த NSS பசங்க எல்லாரும் facebook-ல friends ஆகிட்டோம்ல!...) வழக்கம் போல ரெண்டு பேரும் ஒரே படிப்ஸ் மாதிரியே scene போட்டோம்... அவனும் என்னை மாதிரிதான்... (நெறைய மொக்க போடுவான்!??!!!!)

ஆரம்பத்துல நாங்க நெறைய சண்ட போடுவோம். நான் பண்ற எதுவுமே அவனுக்கு பிடிக்காது; அவன் பேசற எதையுமே நான் லட்சியம் பண்ண மாட்டேன் (அட அட அட!... என்ன ஒரு understanding-ல!) இப்டி தான் எங்க நட்பு வளர்ந்துச்சு. பேசப் பேச தான் எங்களுக்குள்ள ஒற்றுமைகளும், வேற்றுமைகளும், மன ஓட்டங்களும், நினைவுகளும், சிரிப்பும், அழுகையும், மகிழ்ச்சியும், துக்கமும் அவ்வப்போது ஒவ்வொன்றாக வெளிப்பட்டு வெற்றுத்தாள்களாய் கிடந்த எங்கள் புத்தகங்களை உணர்வுகளடங்கிய ஒரு மாபெரும் உருவம் கொடுத்து, உயிரோட்டமுள்ள ஒரு உறவாக 'நட்பாக' எங்களுக்கே எங்களாலேயே அறிமுகப் படுத்தப்பட்டது.

இதோ இப்போது அந்த உறவு அப்பா, அம்மா உறவைக் காட்டிலும் நெருக்கமுடையதாய்; சகோதர, சகோதரிகளைக் காட்டிலும் பிணைப்புடையதாய்; மற்ற உறவுகளைக் காட்டிலும் உண்மையானதாய் எங்களுக்கிடையே வளர்ந்து நிற்கிறது.

இருவரும் சேர்ந்து இலக்கியம் பேசுகிறோம், இறைமைப் பழகுகிறோம், உணர்வுகளைப் பகிர்கிறோம், ஊர்வம்பும் பேசுகிறோம்; ஒன்றாய்ச் சேர்ந்து அழுகிறோம், சிரிக்கிறோம்... எனக்கென்ன தேவை என்பதை அவன் அறிந்துச் செய்கிறான்; எனக்குற்ற துணையாய் அவனிருப்பதை ஆணித்தரமாய்க் காட்டுகிறான்; அவன் அகராதியில் "அவனுக்கில்லை என்றால் கூட, எனக்கிருக்கிறது". தூயவன் 'என் நண்பன்'! உலகின் மொத்த அன்பையும் என்பால் கொட்டிக் களிக்கிறான்; அவ்வப்போது தலையிலும் குட்டுகிறான்; தேவையென்றுணர்கையில் தோள் கொடுக்க வருகிறான்; உயர்ந்த எங்கள் நட்பை உலகுக்கு உரக்கச் சொல்கிறான்!

ஆனாலும் இன்னும் நாங்க ரெண்டு பேரும் சின்னப்புள்ள தனமா தான் நடந்துக்குவோம். அடிக்கடி சண்ட போடுவோம்; மாத்தி மாத்தி திட்டிக்குவோம்; chocolate-ல கடன் வெப்போம்; same pinch, give me a munch விளையாடுவோம்; அவன் சொல்ற எதையும் நான் செய்ய மாட்டேன்; நான் சொல்ற எதையும் அவன் கேக்க மாட்டான்! ஆனா, எங்க நட்ப மட்டும் விட்டுக்கொடுக்க மாட்டோம். "நண்பேன்டா!"....

CONCEPT OF COPYRIGHT

ü  The concept of copyright originated with this slogan by Irish King Diarmid in 6th century A.D.

ü  Copyright evolved as a result of the invention of printing which revolutionized the techniques of reproduction.

ü  New technology made possible easy copying of any original work.

ü  The concept behind copyright is that creators of literary works have rights of ownership in their works, & those rights should be legally protected to prevent unlawful reproduction of their works.

Definition

ü  Copyright is a legal term describing rights given to creators for their literary and artistic works. – WIPO

ü  Copyright is the exclusive legal right to the publication, sale etc. of a literary or artistic work. – Dictionary Definition

ü  Copyright is a form of protection provided by the laws of any country to the authors of “original works of authorship”.

Purpose:

The major purpose of the copyright system are:

(i) to encourage talented persons to produce creative works.

(ii) to provide incentives for the dissemination of those works.

Copyright Protection

ü  Copyright protects "original works of authorship" that are fixed in a tangible form of expression.

ü  Copyrightable works include the following categories:

1. Original literary works

2. musical works, including any accompanying works

3. dramatic works, including any accompanying music

4. pantomimes & choreographic works

5. pictorial, graphic, & sculptural works

6. motion pictures & other audiovisual works

7. sound recordings

8. architectural works

 Features

The original creators of works protected by copyright, and their heirs, have certain basic rights:

ü  They hold the exclusive right to use or authorize others to use the work on agreed terms.

ü  The creator of a work can prohibit or authorize:

      its reproduction in various forms, such as printed publication or sound recording;

      its public performance, as in a play or musical work;

      recordings of it, for example, in the form of compact discs, cassettes or videotapes;

      its broadcasting, by radio, cable or satellite;

      its translation into other languages, or its adaptation, such as a novel into a screenplay.

ü    Copyright protection also includes some moral rights,

      right to claim authorship of a work

      right to oppose changes to it

ü    The creator/owner of the copyright in a work, can enforce his rights in the courts,

      by inspection of premises for evidence of production or

      possession of illegally made "pirated" goods related to protected works.

ü    The owner may obtain court orders to stop such activities & can seek damages for loss of financial rewards and recognition.

Term of copyright

ü  The general rule is that copyright lasts for 60 years.

ü  In case of original literary, dramatic, musical and artistic works, it is counted from the year following the death of the author.

ü  In case of cinematograph films, sound recordings, photographs, posthumous publications, anonymous and pseudonymous publications, works of government & works of international organizations, it is counted from the date of publication.

ü  This limit enables both creators and their heirs to benefit financially for a reasonable period of time.

Copyright Notice

A copyright notice generally consists of:

ü  The word ‘copyright’/ the abbreviation ‘copr.’/ copyright symbol ©

ü  The year in which the work was first published

ü  The name of the copyright owner

Requirements for copyright

1. Fixation

The ideas must be fixed in some tangible medium of expression.

2. Originality

A fixed expression of ideas is protected by copyright if and only if it is original.

3. Minimal creativity

            Minimal level of creativity is  required.
